Clarity 04:22
middle of november a day not to remember a mess on the floor too far from the door I am trapped on my bed with these ideas in my head that float away onto this page clarity is hard to come by on the days when i don’t know myself clarity is hard to come by when my brain is on the tallest shelf staring at the ceiling nothing is revealing answers to the main questions in my brain crossed out words, they waste ink in captivity i think about why i’m really here clarity is hard to come by when i just can’t see where i am today clarity is hard to come by when i’m just too damn far away no resolve but life goes on winter’s just around the bend i’ll bundle up and i’ll brave the cold for as long as i can defend no resolve but life goes on winter’s just around the bend i’ll bundle up and i’ll brave the cold until the bitter end. clarity is hard to come by when the crystal ball is full of haze clarity is hard to come by but it’s just a phase clarity is hard to come by when the crystal ball is full of haze clarity is hard to come by but it’s just a phase

write in blue? write in new. it all sounds the same to you It all sounds the same to you ain’t it true? it sounds the same to you. i have walked, down these streets i’ve walked the streets to see what they did for me and it sounds the same to me let it be, sounds the same to me and I hear people talkin in social scenes about what it means in front of screens and it sounds the same to me cause in blue, it’s harder to find the truth and i feel, a haunting shiver because there's no love to keep me warm in the lonely winter and the wind howls in the night and there’s no love, to keep me warm write in blue? write in new. it all sounds the same to you It all sounds the same to you ain’t it true? ain’t it true? ain’t it true? it sounds the same to you.

i lied to everybody i said i hadn’t seen you in a minute i lied to everybody they could tell, but they couldn’t pin it i’ve seen you all around this town i’ve played your fool when we felt down i fooled and fooled and fooled around... i’ve seen you all around this town. i lied to everybody cause when we dove, we dove in deep i lied to everybody cause it was you i had to keep (close to me) i’ve seen you all around this town i’ve played your fool when we felt down i fooled and fooled and fooled around... i’ve seen you all around this town i’ve seen you all around this town i’ve played your fool when we felt down i fooled and fooled and fooled around... i’ve seen you all around this town. i lied to everybody i said i couldn’t handle you no more i lied to everybody i said i walked out the door to check the score and i’m not coming back anymore i’ve seen you all around this town i’ve played your fool when we felt down i fooled and fooled and fooled around... i’ve seen you all around this town.

about

Elisa Latrice and Scott Nadeau met in late 2015 and began writing music together as soon as they met. Together they sound very unique, in that their music doesn’t really fall into a particular genre. Each of their unique musical experiences can be heard blended seamlessly into their Two The Moon EP. Scott comes from a history of hard rock and metal bands, while Elisa’s musical background is more rhythm & blues. The two musical sensibilities combine into a beat-driven melodic groove that knows when to slow down and knows when to rock the house.
